NEW PROJECT

UGANDA COMMUNITY ART SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND RECYCLING

ABOUT UCASDR
UCASDR was established in 2012, in Nansana to provide opportunities for community art skills development, improving primary health care in communities using art skills, artistic exchange and to break new ground in networking and community engagement through Art. UCASDR will bring artists and communities from different parts of Uganda and from all over the world to work alongside each other.
The mission is to bring together artists and communities in order to improve communities using art skills, networking between artists, institutions, individuals and art organizations.
UCASDR emphasizes preserving the environment through recycling waste materials/products (recyclable materials) that are disposed with the environment transforming them into artworks.
UCASDR activities are based in local communities in Uganda. These communities include Slums areas, Villages and Schools. Activities are run by a working group namely.
We are in the process of designing and uploading our website as soon as we have got some funds.
