Tusiime mathias to work as research assistant linking professional product Designers to manufacturing Industries in Uganda.

I had an opportunity to work as research assistant of Mr Nsereko Joseph Raymond a lecturer at school of Industrial and Fine Arts -college of Engineering Design Art and Technology -Makerere University in the Project linking professional product Designers  to manufacturing Industries in Uganda.
The project was initiative to link design students from makerere university to local product manufactures located in kisenyi and katwe kampala Hubs of creativity.

I was delighted to receive your Invitation to attend the French National day last year on 14th july2014.

 I was especially pleased to meet Her Excellency the  Ambassador Sophie Makame  French Embassy Residence Kampala Uganda and the family  The event was attended by Several Governmental officials HE President of Republic of Uganda HE Yoweri Kaguta Museven ,including  Ambassadors from other Missions in Uganda, Hon Ministers and other invited  Guests.

 It made me feel so  happy and I enjoyed the event and the Dinner  was Great!

For the two times I have been to the US that is July 2013 and Jan 2014, I was grateful for the warm welcome, care, the activities I got involved in and cultural experience . I decided to make this painting to illustrate my experience which I strongly believe brings the message home .I am happy for what I am and who I am at the moment for God has been on my side and hope for the very best.
