Newcastle and Makerere Universitie Students and Staff Visit UCASDR ART CENTRE


 It was a pleasure to host Newcastle and Makerere University students and Staff  at UCASDR Art Center. We discussed and shared a lot of ideas in skills Development recycling and recycling methods, techniques,  equipment and technologies during our interaction. I am very excited about the future plans and opportunity of hosting students and their Professors at the Center and within communities in Kampala and other regions of Uganda.

Net working New oppotunities For Artists in East Africa Collaborative and sustainability Practices workshop at 32 Degrees kampala Uganda


Newcastle University,32 Degrees and British Institute of East Africa are working together to execute  Networking  New opportunities for Artists in East Africa.This project designed to stimulate programmatic thinking  around career opportunities.

UCASDR Donates Exercise Books to Mr Nuwagaba Agaba Agrey a 51( fifty one) old year Man aretired #NRA#( National Resitance Army) currently #UPDF# doing his primary seven at New Hope primary school Kisimu.

Nuwaga Aggry was born 1969 in kaharo Bugarama Katoojo Kabale District.
 He sat his PLE  in 2016 at New Hope Primary school-Kisimu in Wakiso District
He was NRA soldier 1985 and retired 1992. He decided to go  back for studies in 2015 then sat  his PLE in 2016.
He is  looking for the support to continue for studies to secondary school
As per UCASDR objectives we decided to support him by donating Books to him made from our center.

On 29th June we had a meeting with the Deputy Mayor, Environment Officer and Finance and DEO Jinja
