Tusiime Mathias meets a Famous Sculptor, Professor Erik Blome also a Fulbright scholar

 

As the Director of Uganda community art skill Development and recycling (

UCASDR) it was a great pleasure meeting Professor Erik Blome an American sculptor his is in Kampala for Fulbright scholar at Makerere University school of industrial and fine Art, Cedat-Makerere University.

I enjoyed having a tour with him in Bwaise industrial area, which is a hub of wood working, and Shauri Yako Market in down-town Kampala city.

It was a great experience of the day and I look forward to partner with him in local projects in the community.

It was joy UCASDR to host a famous South sudan artist Mr okello Ben okuni we did one day workshop after the workshop he donated artwork to UCASDR Program to support Free Art Education in Grassroot communities in Uganda
